Phones, social networks and links

Add a profile's phone numbers, social networks and links, and know what comes from the profile, the establishment or the template.

The contact details on a profile page come from three places: the employee's profile, their establishment and the template. This page explains how to enter them on the profile, and which ones to put where so you never enter anything twice.

Add a phone number

  1. Open the profile, Information tab, then the Phones sub-tab.
  2. Click Add a number.
  3. Choose the Type, the Country, then enter the Phone number.
  4. Save the profile.

Number types

Type Usual use
Mobile the employee's cell phone
Direct line their desk phone
Switchboard a site's switchboard
Head office switchboard the company's main number
Customer service the customer service number
Support the support number
Fax a fax

The type is shown in front of the number on the profile page (for example “Mobile: +33 6 39 98 29 54”).

Number format

Choose the country in Country: the dialing code (+33 for France) is shown in front of the field. Then enter the number in international format, as in the example shown on screen: +33 then 6 12 34 56 78, without the leading 0. That way, the number can be called in one click from any country.

Order of the numbers

Drag a number by its handle, at the top left of its box, to move it up or down. The order on the profile is the display order on the profile page. The trash icon, at the top right, removes the number.

In the email signature, the “Phone” data item ({{ phone }}) shows the person's Mobile, or else their Direct line. Switchboard numbers, shared by several people, are not included.

Add a social network

  1. In the Social networks sub-tab, click Add an account.
  2. Choose the Type: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X or YouTube.
  3. Fill in the account:
    • for LinkedIn and Facebook, the page address (the field already starts with https://);
    • for Instagram, X and YouTube, the account name (the field already starts with @).
  4. Save.

On the profile page, each network is shown as a clickable icon.

Add a link

  1. In the Links sub-tab, click Add a link.
  2. Fill in the Name, that is the button text (for example “Book an appointment” or “My portfolio”), then the full URL.
  3. Save.

Links are shown as buttons on the profile page, in the order of the profile.

What comes from where

A profile page shows three blocks. Each one has its source:

Page block Source Examples
Contact details the employee's profile displayed email, mobile, direct line, their personal LinkedIn
Establishment the establishment they are attached to address, reception email, branch switchboard
Organization the template (General tab) head office switchboard, company social networks, “Our website”, “Join us”

To split them well:

  • On the profile, only what is specific to the person. No need to copy the company switchboard or website there.
  • On the establishment, what is shared by the people at one site: see Establishments.
  • On the template, what is shared by the whole company: see Shared contact details.

A contact detail changed on the establishment or the template applies immediately to all the pages concerned.

And in the email signature?

The signature's Networks and links block shows the profile's social networks and links. If the profile has none, it uses the template's. See The signature editor.
